I'm William Khondowe from Zambia, the youngest of nine siblings. Growing up in a bustling household has taught me the value of unity and diversity. Now, I'm eager to channel those lessons into meaningful contributions, whether through education, conversations, or community engagement.
I am affiliated with an industry-leading company where I take the lead in Digital Marketing. Additionally, I've ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing Lowkey Solutions, a burgeoning digital marketing agency. In my capacity as the Managing Director. I am fully committed to steering the agency towards becoming a frontrunner in the realm of digital marketing within the next five years. My role involves strategic planning, overseeing operations, and nurturing our vision of offering cutting-edge solutions to clients seeking to amplify their online presence.
My career journey has been a deliberate progression fuelled by my passion for business and marketing. From high school part-time marketing roles, I transitioned from an accounting education to pursuing ABE studies. As I completed my ABE Level 4 diploma, I secured employment, followed by obtaining the ABE Level 6 Diploma. This propelled me into a role with a top hospitality corporation. Concurrently, I founded Lowkey Solutions, a digital marketing agency, where I've applied both marketing and business management skills. This holistic approach, guided by ABE's education, has brought me to my current point of career advancement and impactful contributions.
I've had a deep interest in business and marketing since I was quite young, which led me to engage in numerous part-time marketing jobs during my high school years. Initially, I pursued an accounting education, but it became apparent during my first semester that my true passion lay in business and marketing. This realization prompted me to transition to studying ABE.
ABE's qualifications have been pivotal in shaping my career journey. After completing my ABE Level 4 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing, I was able to secure employment while still pursuing my studies. By the time I successfully earned my ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing, I was also able to have an amassed professional experience. This proved instrumental in landing a role within a prominent hospitality corporation. Since then, my career trajectory has consistently advanced at each stage, and I owe a significant debt of gratitude to ABE for empowering me with the knowledge and credentials that have been a cornerstone of my professional growth.
What I find most enjoyable about my job is the opportunity to pursue my passion. In my current formal employment, I have the privilege of engaging in marketing, particularly specialising in digital marketing. This field is captivating to me, as it aligns perfectly with my interests. Moreover, on the entrepreneurial front with Lowkey Solutions, I can actively apply both marketing and business management skills. This dual practice not only indulges my passions but also enables me to seamlessly apply the theoretical knowledge gained through my studies to practical, real-world scenarios.
