''I’m from Yangon. Now I’m living with my mom in Yankin Township. I passed the matriculation examination from No. (1), Basic Education High School, Yankin. I also passed the ABE Level (4) and Level (5) Diploma in Business Management at Business Institute Yangon (BIY).
I decided to study ABE because it is an international examination body whose certifications are recognised worldwide. I thought that it might be useful if I wanted to work or study in other countries.
Compared to longer degree programmes, ABE Diploma can be seen as a quicker way to acquire relevant skills and enter the workforce. ABE has specialty programmes that allow students to focus on fields such as marketing, finance, human resources, or management. Employers respect this specific skill.
After I’ve completed my current ABE qualification, I’ll take the online class from the University of Hertfordshire to gain a BA(Hons) and then I’ll join my family business.
ABE qualifications are designed to encourage continuing professional growth. Its programmes focus on practical skills and practical use, giving students information that is immediately usable in working environments.
After studying with ABE, I gained a lot of Business knowledge because ABE Diplomas provide a solid foundation in various aspects of business, including finance, marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. I developed the ability to analyse business situations, evaluate data, and make informed decisions based on critical thinking. I also improved my communication and problem-solving skills.
My tips for successful study:
- Add a study schedule to my daily routine.
- During assignment exams, I study for 30 minutes and take a 5-minute break for my brain and eyes.
- Prioritise projects according to deadlines and priority. This is especially important when managing many subjects.
I enjoy doing sales and marketing projects. So, I want to start my own business, leveraging my marketing skills to establish and promote the products or services.''
