Tamia chose ABE because she has a passion for business. She is now studying for a degree in the US. Here's her story:
"I was born and raised in Tanzania as the last child in a family of six. Fortunately, both of my parents are by my side. My family means everything to me; they love and care for me, but most importantly, they are the ones who motivated me to perform better and to be lucky enough to win this award.
I completed my primary education at Academic International School in Tanzania, where I was promoted from Grade 7 to Grade 9. I then attended Feza International School in Tanzania for my secondary and O-level studies. After that, I started and completed a year of ABE at Emerson Education, Tanzania. I chose ABE because, first and foremost, I have always had a strong interest in business, but also because ABE provides a tranquil educational environment. I wanted to expand my business knowledge, and ABE comes with much research, so I did obtain a more profound and better grasp of the business sector.
ABE is well-liked by the general public and companies in my country. Not only because it is a worldwide curriculum, but also because everyone who chooses ABE succeeds. When others asked what I was studying and I mentioned ABE, they were intrigued and valued me even more because the ABE syllabus is widely respected in my country. I have already finished my current ABE qualification, which ended with a Level 4 Diploma in Business Management.
Currently, I am studying for my second semester of an associate's degree in Business Management in the United States. The company of my teachers and classmates was the best part of studying ABE. ABE was like a family to me; it was an experience full of love and care. When I first joined ABE, it felt like a completely new and scary experience, and I believed I wouldn't make it, but the time and the support I received from ABE made the studying experience a lot better."
