Su Thinzar Htet, a student at PS Business School in Myanmar, shares her inspiring transition from medical studies to business management. Faced with unforeseen circumstances, she chose to study with ABE to build her expertise in business and completed Level 5 and Level 6 Diplomas. ''I am Su Thinzar Htet, a student from the ABE centre, PS Business School, in Myanmar. I came from an academically oriented family and my education journey has always been driven by the motivation and the passion to get things done impeccably. I was a medical student back in the days who knew nothing about business. However, unforeseen circumstances in my country led me to drop out of school and started a career as a high school graduate in management sector at an International School in Yangon.
As a former medical student, everything was new for me at work so to broaden my knowledge in Business, I did research on degree courses and chose ABE as my trusted learning centre. The diploma courses of ABE are greatly regarded for its rigorous curriculum and industry relevance and the employers value ABE graduates for their skills and ability to contribute effectively and efficiently at work.
I completed Level 5 and Level 6 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing courses and upon completion, I plan to join the University for a top-up Bachelors in Business. The flexibility ABE offers and the support of teachers and class moderators at the PS Business school are the best things I experienced both as a student and a full-time employee.
During and after my ABE journey, I am equipped with knowledge in business leadership and strategies, data analysis and effective communication for my current role at the workspace which involves managing hundreds of people. I am truly honoured to receive a top paper award in Digital Marketing Strategy and for those who want to achieve the same, I would like to advise you to engage with learning materials actively and seek support from peers and instructors if needed. Moreover, when completing the assignment, make sure to read the question carefully to figure out what the examiner truly wants and carefully choose the organisation that could explain the requirements of the questions. I aim to further my studies and use my skills to drive innovative and sustainable multinational organisations in the future.''
