''My name is Shaquille Yansen, and I am from Weldaad Village on the West Coast of Berbice, Guyana. I currently work as an Intelligence Officer with the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit, where I play a key role in protecting our country’s borders and combating illegal narcotics activities. My educational background includes certification as a customs clearance clerk, which grounded me in customs and regulatory compliance. I recently completed Level 4 Foundation in Business Management which has broadened my strategic and operational skills. Before this role, I served as a supervisor at a telecommunications company, where I gained experience in leadership and operations, and as an Officer Cadet in the Guyana Defense Force, where I developed discipline and resilience. On a personal note, I have been happily married for three years and am a proud father of one child. I also have an older brother and I am an uncle to a niece and nephew. My family and career have instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility, dedication, and commitment to making a positive impact.

My study regimen was very simple. I remained consistent in attending classes, completed all tasks that were assigned and analysed all questions thoroughly before answering, taking into consideration the guides prepared by the lecturers.
My long-term career plan is to become a manager or CEO of a reputable company while simultaneously starting my own trucking business. This is to ensure financial freedom whilst also doing something that I love.''
