Here is Salih's story:
I was born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I am the middle child of three children. My family is close-knit and supportive. I am hardworking and disciplined and I strive to be more than average.
My time with ABE was an eye-opening experience that transformed my understanding of the business world. As a science student in secondary school, I had little interest in business and thought it would be difficult for me to adapt to studying the subject. However, ABEs comprehensive and engaging curriculum quickly dispelled my misconceptions. The modules I studied covered a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of business to more specialised areas such as Marketing and Human Resources.
ABE also emphasized the importance of soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. These skills are essential for success in any business environment, and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to develop them during my time with the program. The qualification I earned through ABE allowed me to progress to the University of Hertfordshire, where I successfully acquired a degree in Business Administration. I am also pursuing a qualification in Human Resource Management, which I believe will be invaluable in my future career. I am confident that my success in these programs is due to the foundation I built during my time with ABE. The program's rigorous curriculum and emphasis on soft skills have prepared me well for the challenges of university and beyond. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this program, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in a career in business.
The ABE course has given me the skills and knowledge I need to start my own business. I am currently working on a freelancing project and I’m hoping to use the knowledge I have gained from my ABE studies to launch my own business in the future.
My advice to those starting out on their ABE journey is to be consistent and disciplined. The course is challenging, but it is also very rewarding. If you are willing to put in the hard work, you will be successful.
