May Hsu Paing studied ABE at MHR Management Institute. Her immediate plan is to gain more practical experience in digital marketing and business, with long-term aspirations of becoming a senior digital marketing strategist. Read her full story below:
''I live in Yangon, Myanmar, and I am part of a happy and supportive family. As the eldest of three sisters, I have always felt a strong sense of responsibility. My parents have always placed a high value on education and have been very supportive of my academic endeavours, which has encouraged me to always try my best. I have been quite fortunate when it comes to exams, often performing well. Since middle school, I have won prizes, not only in academics but also in creative pursuits such as poetry and essay writing. I passed the matriculation exam in 2018 with four distinctions and went on to attend Yangon University of Foreign Languages, where I studied Chinese language.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I began learning how to use digital tools and discovered an interest in digital marketing, which is integral to the business field. This led to my first job as a junior digital marketing staff at a dental centre. However, I realized that short courses in digital marketing were not sufficient for my desire to understand the basics and theories of business comprehensively. Following a friend's recommendation, I decided to join ABE to pursue a more thorough academic foundation in business.
With a friend's recommendation, I studied ABE at MHR Management Institute, the first ABE centre in Myanmar, where I benefited from excellent teaching.
In my country, employers have a high regard for ABE learners. They appreciate that ABE graduates are good at planning. Additionally, ABE learners are known for their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real business situations effectively. This combination of skills makes ABE graduates highly desirable in the job market.
After completing my current ABE qualification, my immediate plan is to gain more practical experience in the field of digital marketing while continuing to expand my knowledge of business principles. I aim to seek new opportunities that allow me to apply what I've learned in a real-world business context.
The best thing about studying with ABE is the comprehensive and practical curriculum that bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. ABE qualifications are highly regarded by employers.
From studying with ABE, I have gained strong skills in applying business theory to practical scenarios, which have significantly enhanced my effectiveness in my role as a junior digital marketer.
