Kondwani chose to study with ABE due to its reputation for providing practical skills and knowledge relevant to the business market. ''I was born and raised in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. I am the third born in a family of 4, and the first child in my family that went to college. As for my educational background, it wasn’t easy for both me and my parents to get to where I am today. With the courage and effort from my parents in providing school fees for my education and my hard-working abilities, I was able to get through primary and secondary school, and now progressing in college.
I chose ABE because of its reliability in the provision of skills, techniques, information, and knowledge especially in the business managerial field as well as the opportunities that you get with an ABE Diploma.
I am studying my ABE course at Lilongwe Technical College.
ABE is respected by both the public and employers. The qualifications offered by ABE are often viewed as practical and relevant to the needs of the job market, providing individuals with valuable skills and knowledge in business and management. Employers often regard ABE qualifications favourably, seeing them as a sign of well-rounded business acumen and practical understanding, making graduates more employable.
I am planning to get a part-time job so that I can be able to help my parents with paying for both my school and examination fees. I am studying my ABE course at Lilongwe Technical College.
I am highly exposed to the world of business. I understand a lot about businesses/organisations and I now possess a wide range of skills, techniques, knowledge, and information about business. The best thing about studying with ABE is “the introduction to a new world/chapter of life”. To be specific, now I have the ability to change my life by getting a nice paying job or running my own business.
I have gained business management skills, and because of this, I am now capable of starting my own business, managing an existing business, developing, and directing an effective team within an organisation, and leading a successful project.
My tips for anyone looking to start their ABE are to not just rely on your teacher to teach you, “get wild sometimes” do some research on your own, and explore different studying materials e.g. textbooks, videos, online courses, or other related apps just to gain a broader understanding of the subject.
My long-term career plans for the future involves, building a solid foundation of knowledge and experience to eventually start several businesses that I always dream about, and this could be done by working extra hard with the aim to achieve a Ph.D. in Business Management.''
