Workplace coaching and mentoring can help a workforce to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.  This unit is designed to provide an understanding of the business benefits of coaching and mentoring in the workplace. 

On completion, you will know the principles of effective workplace coaching and mentoring, and how they support personal growth and professional development. You will be able to distinguish between different types and styles of coaching and mentoring and how they can be applied to benefit individuals, teams and organisations. 

You will gain insights into the knowledge, skills and behaviours, the tools and techniques and the processes for delivering effective coaching. Additionally, you will understand different approaches to mentoring and how to implement a workplace mentoring programme.
