Exciting news! New Level 3 ABE qualifications are in the final stages of development. They are being designed to enable centres to offer a superb suite of qualifications, with options to suit different learner needs, whilst remaining highly cost-effective to deliver.
The new ABE Level 3 qualification suite is comprised as follows:
• ABE Level 3 Diploma in Business Management (120 credits)
• ABE Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business Management (60 credits)
• ABE Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business (40 credits)
• ABE Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Entrepreneurship (40 credits)
• ABE Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Leadership (40 credits)
The 40-credit Foundation Diplomas allow learners to focus on one or two areas of business that interest them and they work well combined with other fields of study. The 120-credit Diploma is ideal for people who want to focus solely on business and progress to higher levels of study. The 60-credit Foundation Diploma is for people who want to focus on building a career with the benefit of a good overview of key areas of business, leadership and entrepreneurialism.
The new qualifications will all come with a tutor guide and each unit will have its own study guide to support learners by reinforcing the teaching delivered by their school or centre.
All Leadership units have been developed in partnership with The Institute of Leadership. Learners enrolled onto the new Level 3 programmes will also benefit from free studying membership of The Institute of Leadership.

ABE Foundation Diploma in Business (40 credits)
This Diploma provides the fundamental business skills that can support those aiming for employment or it can be used, alongside other fields of study, as a stepping stone to the next academic level.

For those planning a career in business, this Diploma provides a wide-ranging overview of the elements that make up business management. The 120-credit Diploma has been designed as a complete first step for those planning to progress to higher levels of study in business. Comprised of 12 units - four units from each of the Business, Leadership and Entrepreneurship 40-credit Foundation Diplomas.
ABE Foundation Diploma in Business Management (60 credits)
The-60 credit Foundation Diploma in Business Management gives an excellent grounding in the knowledge and skills needed to enter into a career in business. This is ideal for those who want a solid grounding in business before going on to employment.
Comprised of six units, made up of the two core units from each of the 40-credit Business, Leadership and Entrepreneurship Diplomas.
