Meet the Future Entrepreneurs 2024

We are delighted to announce the Future Entrepreneur 2024 winner is 14-year-old Khant Zin Thaw from Kudos to You Professional Development Academy and the runners-up are Safety Chains, a year 8 team representing Gresham's Prep School. The Future Entrepreneur is an international entrepreneurship competition for children who won the business pitch as part of the ABE Endorsed KidsMBA programme.  The entry standard is very high and all entrants and finalists should feel proud.

Winner Thant impressed the judges with his innovative and ambitious business idea TrashFormers - dedicated to transforming waste into eco-friendly products with the social mission of providing job opportunities for unemployed people in his native Bhuma (Myanmar).

Judge Lesley Li, CEO & co-founder, u impact | impact4good, summed up the judges' thoughts saying, "A very passionate and purpose-driven founder at such a young age!". Michael Buchan, Senior Lecturer, Strategy Enterprise and Innovation, University of Portsmouth added, "Overall an excellent and brave attempt to do the right thing and with time, experience and judgement these projects can and will make a huge difference to the people of your country."

The runners-up were Elisabeth, Esme, Emma, Imogen, Minky, Cristina and Georgie, an impressive team from Gresham's Prep School, England.  Their innovative idea was to create self-defence wear that looked like fashion jewellery, but which incorporated hidden alarms that could be activated if the wearer was in danger.  The judges were impressed by the originality of this idea with Michael Buchan saying, "Linking fashion to security and discretion is very powerful", and ABE examiner Gillian Hayter adding, "Wonderful idea and well presented by confident speakers. The hard work of Safety Chains is evident in their great presentation."

Many congratulations to our winners and all the finalists from ABE and KidsMBA.  We can't wait to hear what you do next!
