On 10th November, ABE hosted a round table discussion with teachers and students across Nairobi.
Partnered with Daisy Wanga, Deputy Head of Corporate Affairs, Management University of Africa (MUA), Tom Onguru CLSSBB, Founder of Brighter Edge Consultants, and the Institute of Pension Management (IPM), the day was split into two sessions. The first saw a speaker from the Institute of Pension Management provide advice to help students choose the right career path. This was followed by motivational speaker Tom Onguru, and then MUA Vice-Chancellor Professor Washington Okeyo shared MUA's vision to develop leadership across Africa.
The second session was led by ABE's director Kereesa Carrington-Nunez and country head Bonface Kamau, who discussed how schools can cultivate business education and entrepreneurial thinking through strong business partnerships as well as integrating programmes such as KidsMBA. ABE is working with our partners in Africa to provide impactful solutions from schoolroom to boardroom.
