ABE’s Regional Director for Southeast Asia & Pacific, Suren Verma, had a highly productive visit to Malaysia from 11 - 16 February, working alongside Business Development Manager, Eti Farah Zainudin. The visit focused on expanding ABE’s footprint through new partnerships, reinforcing institutional ties, and aligning business development strategies for 2025.
Key outcomes:
- British High Commission – Strengthened ties with DBT and discussed future collaboration for UK education events.
- Mantissa College – Explored potential ABE accreditation, with Eti leading follow-ups.
- University of Cyberjaya – Discussed ABE learner progression and future MoUs.
- Allium Group Sdn Bhd – Engaged in onboarding discussions; license fees payment expected soon.
- Travex International College – Secured a minimum batch order of 25 certificates and potential ABE L2 & L3 accreditation.
- Networking Events – Achieved some leads and strong networks from Malaysian Myanmar Business Chamber gathering and Chamber Business Networking.
- Star Education Fair KLCC – Achieved some leads and potential partnership contacts.
The trip successfully strengthened ABE’s initiatives in Malaysia by securing promising leads, formalising key partnerships, and laying the groundwork for 2025 objectives
